Our Beginning
New Shiningstar Daycare Center was founded in 2007 by our beloved founder, Cassandra Allgood, with a simple but meaningful purpose: to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing place for her grandchildren to learn and grow.
What began in the comfort of her own home soon grew into something much bigger. As more families discovered the loving care and personal attention Cassandra provided, the need for more space became clear. Shiningstar Daycare Center eventually relocated to an empty clubhouse building within a local townhome community, allowing us to welcome more children while maintaining the warm, family-centered environment that started it all.
Family Owned And Operated Since 2007
Today, Shiningstar remains family-owned and operated, and that family feeling is at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that choosing a childcare center is about much more than finding someone to care for your child while you're away. It is about finding a place where your child feels safe, loved, valued, and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves.
At Shiningstar, we want our families to feel like part of our family. We care for every child as if they were our own, celebrating their individuality, encouraging their curiosity, and supporting them through each stage of their early development.
